Senior Sports Claims Lead – responsible for managing and resolving liability, property, and personal accident claims in partnership with clients and insurers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and our internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and resolve liability claims with clients, insurers, and third parties.
- Prepare and present claims documentation to underwriters and respond to technical queries.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in internal systems.
- Negotiate claim settlements to achieve efficient outcomes for clients.
- Supervise delegated authority contracts and ensure effective management.
- Provide expert mentorship and regular updates to clients throughout the claims process.
- Contribute to internal projects and support wider team objectives.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company procedures.
- Process collections, payments, and related data.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications
- Strong experience in handling liability claims, ideally within an international broker.
- Solid understanding of insurance principles and the claims‑handling process.
- Familiarity with London market operations (Lloyd’s and company markets).
