The Club is one of the leading professional football clubs in Scotland. Based at Easter Road Stadium in Edinburgh, the Club is a stone's throw away from the hustle and bustle of the City Centre. Over the course of its history, Hibernian Football Club has won all of the major domestic titles, most recently winning the Scottish Cup in 2016. Hibernian was the first British team to play in European competition in 1956, reaching the semi-finals.

Hibernian Football Club is dedicated to providing the highest customer service standards while enhancing the matchday experience for supporters and stakeholders. The Ticketing Department plays a key role in managing ticket provision for home and away games, memberships, access control, and offering resolution points across the stadium.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Ticket Office Manager, the Ticket Office Assistant will be responsible for managing and operating the Ticket Office front counter, serving as the main point of contact for sales and customer enquiries, both in person and via phone. The position also involves ensuring the fulfilment of tickets for season tickets, match tickets, and memberships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ticket Sales & Customer Service: Provide in-person and phone support for ticket sales, enquiries, and match ticket fulfilment.
  • Administrative Support: Manage the maintenance of the Ticketmaster database, ensuring supporter details are up-to-date. Organise and frank mail, and report daily on ticket sales.
  • Support to the Ticketing Department: Assist with various tasks across the wider Ticketing Department and cover absences as required.
  • Matchday Support: Assist with the setup and breakdown of operational areas on matchdays and support the Ticket Office Manager, working with Casual Staff to ensure high levels of customer service and resolution on the day of the match.
  • General Administrative Duties: Fulfil additional administrative tasks as directed by the Ticket Office Manager.

Contract: Fixed-term (maternity cover)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Holidays: 34 days per year (including 8 public holidays)
Holiday Year: 1 August to 31 July
Pension: NES T

Interviews will take place week commencing 23rd February with the role expected to commence Wednesday 1st April.
