The Club is one of the leading professional football clubs in Scotland. Based at Easter Road Stadium in Scotland’s Capital City, Edinburgh, the Club is a stone's throw away from the hustle and bustle of the City Centre. Over the course of its history, Hibernian Football Club has won all of the major domestic titles, most recently winning the Scottish Cup in 2016. Hibernian was the first British team to play in European competition in 1956, reaching the semi-finals.

Following a period of growth, Hibernian Football Club is recruiting Matchday Hosts to provide the best-in-class customer service and care to all our matchday hospitality guests, who are attending fixtures and events at Easter Road Stadium. The key duties of this role will include:

  • Welcome guests upon their arrival and direct them to their respective seats or areas.
  • Engage with guests to ensure their comfort and satisfaction throughout the event.
  • Coordinate with the Head of Hospitality and other Hibernian Staff Members to ensure guest safety and compliance with event rules.
  • Inform guests about safety procedures in their specific area i.e. evacuation plans, first aid.
  • Work in conjunction with the matchday team ensuring a best-in-class experience.
  • Inform guests of any updates and communication as instructed.

Person Specifications:

  • The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, flexible, and able to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Experience working in events or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
