We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our Nantwich office at 25 Barker Street. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable and confident solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE to take on a senior role within a respected and well-established team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, build strong client relationships and contribute to the continued development of our Private Client offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied private client caseload, including wills, tax planning, estate administration including those estates with business and agricultural assets, trusts, lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters.
- Provide clear, practical and sensitive advice to individuals, families, business owners and elderly clients.
- Handle complex matters with appropriate supervision and autonomy, maintaining high standards of client care and technical accuracy.
- Support the growth of the department through relationship building, cross-referrals and business development activity in the local community.
- Work collaboratively with partners, colleagues and support staff, with the opportunity to mentor junior team members where appropriate.
The Successful Candidate:
- A qualified solicitor with a strong private client background and a minimum of 5 years’ PQE.
- Confident managing a broad and technically varied caseload with a high level of client contact.
- Commercially aware, organised and able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate sensitively with clients.
- An interest in contributing to the future development of the Private Client department at our Nantwich office.
