We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a solicitor to join our team, taking on a dual role across both Agricultural and Commercial Property Law. The successful candidate will play a key part in shaping and developing our dynamic teams, working closely with experienced colleagues in both departments.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal services in agricultural law, including agricultural tenancies, grazing agreements, succession planning, business structures, partnerships, environmental law, estate reviews, acquisitions and sales, option agreements, wayleaves, easements, pipelines, mineral workings, green energy projects, and HS2-related matters.
- Advise and act on a broad range of commercial property matters, including landlord and tenant issues, acquisitions and disposals, secured lending, planning and development, and management company formation.
- Collaborate with supervising partners, associates, trainees, and support staff in both departments.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and success of the firm’s property and agricultural law offerings.
Qualifications
- Ambitious and forward-thinking, with a passion for both commercial property and agricultural law.
- Minimum 1 year PQE required; applications from solicitors with more experience are also desired.
- Excellent organisational skills, client focus, and confident communication with colleagues and clients.
- Tech-savvy, adaptable, and eager to develop expertise in both fields.
- Willing to take on supervisory responsibilities and help shape the future of the departments.
