Hibaldstow Medical Practice is a friendly and supportive rural dispensing practice located in the Lincolnshire village of Hibaldstow, serving a close-knit rural community across the surrounding villages. We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our well-established team for 4/5 sessions per week. Situated within easy commuting distance of Scunthorpe, Lincoln, and Doncaster, this is an excellent opportunity for a GP seeking the benefits of rural general practice whilst remaining well connected to surrounding towns and cities.

Working alongside 2 experienced partners and a skilled multidisciplinary team, the role will involve delivering high-quality patient-centred care within a friendly and supportive rural dispensing practice serving a close-knit rural community.

The role offers clinical autonomy, continuity of care, protected admin time, and the opportunity to help shape and develop future services within the practice in a supportive University Teaching Practice environment.

Our Team: Hibaldstow Medical Practice is a small, friendly rural dispensing practice serving approximately 3,500 patients across a wide geographical area of around 120 square miles. Our close-knit team includes two GPs, two practice nurses, a nurse associate, a healthcare assistant, eight dispensers, four receptionists, two administrators and a practice manager. We work collaboratively to provide high-quality, patient-focused care to our local community.

We provide direct dispensing services, including a weekly medication delivery service to outlying villages and dossette boxes for patients needing additional support.

The successful candidate will work alongside 2 experienced GP partners and a skilled multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to our practice population across Hibaldstow and the surrounding North Lincolnshire villages.

• Undertaking routine GP consultations and clinical sessions
• Providing safe, effective, and compassionate patient care
• Managing a varied clinical caseload within a rural general practice setting
• Maintaining accurate and contemporaneous clinical records using SystmOne
• Supporting continuity of care and collaborative team working
• Participating in practice meetings and clinical discussions where appropriate
• Contributing to the ongoing development of practice services
• Supporting the values and learning environment of a University Teaching Practice

• Experience of working within a General Practice setting
• Experience managing a varied clinical caseload independently
• Experience delivering high-quality patient-centred care
• Experience working effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience maintaining accurate and contemporaneous clinical records
• Experience using SystmOne clinical system
• Experience working within a rural or dispensing practice
• Experience within a teaching or training practice environment
• Experience contributing to service development or quality improvement initiatives

• Fully qualified GP with current GMC registration and licence to practice
• Included on the NHS England Performers List
• Experience working within General Practice
• Experience using SystmOne clinical system
• Interest or experience in teaching/training within a University Teaching Practice environment
• Experience working within a rural or dispensing practice setting
