The team advises private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, direct lenders and investment banks on a broad range of complex domestic and cross-border financing transactions. Associates are given significant responsibility from an early stage and work directly with leading partners on some of the most high-profile deals in the market.
The Role
- You will advise on a wide range of leveraged finance transactions, including:
- Acquisition financings
- Sponsor-backed leveraged buyouts
- Refinancings and recapitalisations
- Unitranche and direct lending transactions
- Cross-border syndicated financings
- General corporate lending matters
The role offers exposure to premium clients, sophisticated transactions and a genuinely international platform.
Candidate Requirements
- England & Wales qualified lawyer with between 2–6 years' PQE
- Strong leveraged finance experience gained at a leading UK, US or international law firm
- Experience acting for private equity sponsors, lenders or borrowers on complex financing transactions
- Excellent technical, drafting and transaction management skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Commercially minded with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
