Private Equity / M&A Associate (2-5 PQE) – Sponsor & Public M&A Focus | London

A top-tier corporate team is looking to hire a 2-5 PQE associate into its London practice, with a focus on private equity and complex M&A transactions.

The team is particularly well known for its work on UK public takeovers (including hostile situations), alongside advising sponsors and corporates on sophisticated cross-border transactions, restructurings and equity financings.

Key Experience & Workstreams

• Sponsor-led M&A and private equity transactions
• UK public takeovers (recommended and hostile)
• Cross-border acquisitions and disposals
• Corporate reorganisations and restructurings
• Equity financings and complex transaction structuring

Candidate Profile

• 2-5 PQE from a leading US, Magic Circle or top international firm
• Strong M&A experience, ideally with sponsor exposure and/or public takeover experience
• Excellent technical and drafting ability
• Strong interest in complex deal structuring and public M&A dynamics
• Comfortable operating in high-stakes, fast-paced transaction environments
