Transport Specialist Location: Stockton on Tees Hours: 40 hours per week, fully on-site (Mon – Fri 8 – 430 or 9 -530) Are you ready to step into a dynamic role within a fast-paced, forward-thinking organisation? Our client is a leading supplier of modular buildings, site accommodation and high-quality container solutions, and they’re looking for a driven Transport Specialist to support their expanding operation. The Role You’ll be responsible for coordinating and managing the cost-effective delivery of modular buildings, accommodation units and containers across the UK. From booking haulage to managing project delivery schedules, you’ll ensure customers receive a seamless, efficient service — all while maintaining a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Key Responsibilities Booking transport across multiple divisions, ensuring efficient and cost-effective haulage. Coordinating Accommodation Projects in line with project plans and safety procedures. Providing customers with ETAs, delivery updates and clear communication throughout. Ensuring haulage partners are safe, reliable and correctly accredited. Managing tasks from the transport inbox and completing them within agreed timescales. Liaising with Sales teams regarding order updates and amendments. Maintaining a flexible, positive approach and delivering work to the highest standard. What You’ll Bring Experience in transport and logistics Strong communication and customer service skills. Excellent organisation and time-management. Confident interpersonal skills. A positive, solutions-focused attitude. Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and confidently spin multiple plates at once. What Success Looks Like You’ll deliver a smooth, well-managed transport-booking experience, keeping customers informed and resolving issues quickly by working closely with hauliers, Sales and Hire teams.
