About the role: We’re looking for a qualified and customer-focussed mobile electrician to join our growing field service team covering the M4 and A34 corridors. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrician who enjoys working independently, solving problems and delivering a high-quality service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, inspections, testing, and repairs at customer sites.
  • Survey existing installations, diagnose faults and provide safe, effective solutions.
  • Installation of consumer units & sub-mains.
  • Maintain accurate job records using mobile devices and company systems.
  • Represent the company professionally, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
  • Manage van stock, tools, and materials responsibly.

What we are looking for:

  • Time served level 3 Apprenticeship, or adequate on-the-job experience. Must be able to demonstrate suitable experience working as a qualified electrician.
  • 18th Edition (BS 7671) certification required.
  • Inspection & Testing (2391 or 2394 / 2395) highly desirable.
  • Qualified to implement and maintain fire alarm systems would be highly desirable.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and good attention to detail.
  • Confident working independently and communicating with customers.
  • The ideal candidate will have a broad experience in designing electrical distribution systems in small commercial premises, with supervisory experience.
  • The successful candidate will be required to pass a DBS check.

Working Pattern / Location: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, with on-call rota 1 in 6 weeks for evenings and weekends. Onsite at customer premises.
