We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our growing FM team, working across a varied portfolio of hospitality and commercial properties.
The role has a strong focus on commercial refrigeration, including cellar cooling, cold rooms, bottle coolers, ice machines and associated systems. Experience working with commercial catering equipment would also be highly advantageous, giving you the opportunity to work across a broader range of assets found within pubs, restaurants, hotels and commercial kitchens.
You’ll be joining a well-established property services business with strong technical support, a varied workload and the opportunity to develop your skills across both refrigeration and catering disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration equipment.
- Work on equipment including cellar cooling systems, cold rooms, bottle coolers, ice machines and other commercial refrigeration assets.
- Diagnose faults efficiently and complete repairs to a high standard.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Attend reactive breakdowns across hospitality and commercial customer sites.
- Work on commercial catering equipment where suitably experienced and competent.
- Identify additional works and provide clear technical information where further repairs or replacement are required.
- Complete accurate job records and supporting documentation.
- Ensure work complies with F-Gas, health and safety and relevant industry requirements.
- Work closely with our service desk, supervisors and wider engineering team to provide an excellent service to customers.
About You
- Experienced in commercial refrigeration service, maintenance and fault finding.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Comfortable working independently across multiple customer sites.
- Experience within hospitality, pubs, restaurants or commercial kitchens would be advantageous.
- Commercial catering experience or relevant catering qualifications would be a significant advantage.
- Experience with cellar cooling systems is desirable.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach when working on customer sites.
- Full UK driving licence.
