Bank Sterile Services Assistant
- Work under general supervision, with opportunity to make independent decisions.
- Perform duties including receiving, sorting, inspecting, cleaning, disinfecting, assembling, preparing, sterilizing, storing and issuing reusable surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assist the multi-disciplinary theatre team to provide exemplary care by ensuring theatre and endoscopy instrumentation and equipment are correct and ready for use.
- Monitor repairs of instruments.
- Pack linen, instruments and consumables for sterilisation.
