Work under general supervision, with opportunity to make independent decisions. Perform duties including receiving, sorting, inspecting, cleaning, disinfecting, assembling, preparing, sterilizing, storing and issuing reusable surgical instruments and equipment. Assist the multi‑disciplinary theatre team to provide exemplary care by ensuring theatre and endoscopy instrumentation and equipment are correct and ready for use. Monitor repairs of instruments. Pack linen, instruments and consumables for sterilisation.
