We now have the opportunity to offer an exciting and challenging role for an experienced Account Executive or for someone that is ready for their next career step.
To support the continued growth of our business, we are looking to appoint passionate, practical and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. This role is primarily based in Carlisle but may involve travel throughout Cumbria, the South of Scotland and into the North-East. We offer flexible working arrangements, career development and progression, and a hugely experienced and supportive wider team to help you integrate.
We are looking for driven, well organised individuals that can demonstrate excellent time management skills with an ability to manage a broad portfolio of work. You will be supported to be proactive and play a key part in a developing and growing team.
The role includes but is not limited to the following:
- Growing and maintaining your book of clients,
- Using your relationship building skills to develop existing client relationships and meeting client objectives,
- Working closely with the Account Handling team who will support your daily function,
- Understanding client’s insurance needs,
- Identifying the correct insurer market and presenting commercial risks to the relevant insurers to enable a quotation to be provided,
- Acting as the primary point of contact for the client and establishing effective ongoing relationships.
We're looking for experience of working in commercial and agricultural insurance and an individual committed to driving growth. Insurance industry qualifications are advantageous but not essential as support will be provided towards achievement. You should demonstrate a strong knowledge of client market and insurance industry network. A full UK driving licence is essential.
