Kick-start your broking career with H&H Insurance Brokers. We are looking for a proactive, organised and detail-focused individual to join our small team at our Kirkby Stephen Office in Cumbria as a Junior Account Handler. This role is ideal for someone starting out in the insurance industry or looking to take the next step from an administrative, customer service or junior broking role.
You will provide vital support to our Account Handler, Broker and Associate Director while developing the technical skills and confidence needed to grow into a full Account Handler role.
What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll play a key part in delivering an efficient, professional and friendly service to our clients.
- Working with our team of Account Handlers to answer telephone and email queries.
- Preparing and issuing policy documentation including New Business packs, Renewals and Mid-Term Adjustments.
- Liaising with insurers and internal teams to ensure smooth policy administration and manage key timelines.
- Supporting the team with debt management & keeping files up to date.
