We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented individual with a keen eye for detail and interest in accounts to join our Group Services team. You will be confident and especially competent in the use of Microsoft Excel, be ambitious and willing to undertake further training and development. You will also possess a real desire to further your accounting career.

The overall job purpose will be to contribute to the smooth running of the accounts department, ensuring all accounting deadlines are adhered to and providing an effective and efficient service to the trading divisions, aiding the department to move forward and become more dynamic and efficient.
The job will include the following:
assisting with the sales and purchase ledgers
banking and allocation of receipts and assisting with the bank reconciliations.
assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts
collating, inputting and processing data on Sage 200 and Excel as required.
franking daily mail
company vehicle administration
answering telephone calls and customer liaison
managing the stationary requirements for Group Services
The ideal candidate will keep abreast of forthcoming technological advances and have excellent communication skills both written and oral.
You will undertake a relevant apprenticeship with a designated training provider which is appropriate to your current qualifications. On the job training is provided to ensure all the required knowledge and experience is obtained throughout the apprenticeship to qualify successfully.
