Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Content and Commerce Associate with a focus on TikTok, but also supporting our other social media channels. In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of the TikTok platform, trends, and user behaviour to create engaging content, drive brand awareness, and optimize social commerce strategies. You will work closely with marketing, creative, and e-commerce teams to amplify our brand presence and convert followers into customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a content calendar tailored to TikTok trends and audience preferences.
  • Produce engaging and high-quality short-form video content that aligns with brand voice and objectives.
  • Monitor TikTok trends, hashtags, and algorithm changes to ensure content remains relevant and impactful.
  • Collaborate with influencers and creators to co-create content that resonates with target demographics.
  • Social Commerce Execution
  • Integrate e-commerce strategies into TikTok content, utilizing features like TikTok Shop, product links, and live streaming commerce.
  • Track the performance of commerce-related content and optimize for click-through rates, conversions, and sales.
  • Work with the e-commerce team to ensure seamless alignment of product promotions and availability.
  • Community Engagement
  • Actively manage TikTok community interactions, including responding to comments, DMs, and user-generated content.
  • Foster a strong connection with followers to build a loyal and engaged community.
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Analyse TikTok performance metrics, including reach, engagement, video views, and commerce conversions.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to inform strategy adjustments.
  • Experiment with different content formats and commerce tactics to continuously optimize performance.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience managing and growing TikTok accounts, either personally or professionally.
  • Strong content creation skills, including video editing and storytelling tailored to TikTok.
  • In-depth knowledge of TikTok’s algorithm, features, and trends.
  • Familiarity with TikTok Shopping and other e-commerce integrations.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Passion for social media, digital trends, and understanding of target audience behavior.
  • Prior experience in a social commerce or e-commerce-focused role is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to evolve into a multicultural environment.
  • Thinking agility to assess problems and proactively propose solutions.
  • Ability to organize and manage projects but also executional and operational capacity.
