Primary Objective
As Global Marketing Manager for Pet Nutritional Care, you will lead the end-to-end marketing strategy for our Zesty Paws and Solid Gold brands across North America, United Kingdom, European Union, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Australia and China. You will ensure seamless visual identity transitions and uphold brand integrity while driving new product launches, commercial roll-outs, and strategic innovation initiatives. Your data-informed insights will empower regional teams, create global-to-local synergies, and maintain consistent, compelling brand experiences worldwide.
Position Responsibilities
- Visual Identity & Brand Integrity
- Champion global visual identity transitions for Zesty Paws and Solid Gold, ensuring all creative assets adhere to updated guidelines and maintain brand equity.
- Oversee the development, approval, and roll-out of Brand visual assets, packaging, and retail display specifications.
- Conduct regular audits of regional materials to safeguard consistency and quality.
- Regional Launch & Commercialization Support
- Partner with regional marketing leads to plan and execute brand launches and re-launches, including go-to-market playbooks, campaign frameworks, and retailer/partner toolkits.
- Provide hands-on support for promotional activations, E-commerce campaigns, and in-market events to maximize ROI.
- Data & Insights Leadership
- Aggregate and analyze global + regional data trends (sales, e-commerce metrics, consumer sentiment, competitive activity) to inform marketing decisions and identify growth opportunities.
- Present quarterly market insights and business-review decks to senior leadership, highlighting key learnings and recommended actions.
- Global Innovation & Regional Synergies
- Lead cross-functional ideation workshops to surface product and packaging innovations that can be adapted regionally.
- Coordinate with R&D, packaging, and supply-chain teams to accelerate concept-to-market timelines.
- Capture and share best practices from pilot markets to drive scale across other regions.
- Brand Continuity & Governance
- Maintain comprehensive brand guidelines, ensuring all regions adhere to approved messaging, tone, and visual standards.
- Set up and chair the quarterly Global Brand Council, bringing together regional representatives to align on strategy, share success stories, and troubleshoot challenges.
- Cross-Regional Collaboration & Communication
- Schedule and lead bi-monthly global marketing touchbases with regional teams to review upcoming campaigns, approve creative assets, and align on KPIs.
- Facilitate inter-regional “best practice” sessions to foster knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement.
- Act as the central escalation point for any brand-related issues or deviations.
Experience & Skills
- Proven Leadership: 10+ years in B2C/FMCG marketing, with at least 5 years overseeing global or multi-region brand portfolios.
- Pet Nutrition Marketing: 5+ years of marketing in Pet Nutritional Care, required.
- Brand & Visual Expertise: Demonstrated track record managing visual identity transitions and implementing brand governance frameworks.
- Commercial Acumen: Experience launching products in diverse markets, adept at tailoring global campaigns to regional nuances and channel requirements.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Strong analytics skills, comfortable with market-research tools and interpreting cross-region sales data to support strategic decisions.
- Innovation Focus: History of leading cross-functional new-product development, driving concepts from ideation through to commercialization.
- Excellent Communicator: Strong presentation and stakeholder-management skills, capable of influencing senior leadership and external agencies.
- Collaborative & Cross-Cultural: Proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams across time zones and cultures.
