Purpose of the Job
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Sourcing Analyst to join our team to help drive forward our customer proposition dedicated to servicing one of our key global accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic sourcing minded analyst seeking a strategic focused role within a rapidly growing, global business. You’ll work within the existing Sourcing Analytics team whose focus is the data analysis of historic print purchases of the client to support the build and design of framework pricing agreements (rate cards) with suppliers, and working on pricing opportunities as and when they arise. This role can operate on a Hybrid basis from any of our UK offices.
Key Responsibilities
- To work with client engagement teams to analyze their existing spend and product specification profiles to identify work suitable for catalogues and standard pricing methods.
- To prepare and take ownership of the quote/tender process with our supply chain and analyzing their responses.
- Analysis of data sets of Print products (trend, product specifications, order patterns, etc).
- To work closely with the Strategic Sourcing team to develop and build product price rate cards with a particular focus on Print and Point of Sale (POS) products.
- Undertake other projects where necessary to develop and provide in depth analysis.
Skills, Experience And Qualifications
- Experience in large format temporary 2D and 3D POS products with a broad understanding of production processes will be advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand POS technical drawings is desirable.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and written.
- Logical and tenacious approach to tasks.
- Confident IT skills and Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivots, data manipulation) is highly beneficial.
- A focused individual with a high degree of accuracy.
- The ability to work independently while working through data, but also confident in working closely with various teams in the business.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
