Purpose of the Job
The Senior Account Manager will partner with the Account Director to deliver solutions for our leading alcoholic beverages brand client, ensuring projects are completed on time and against operational and financial targets. Acting as both strategist and hands-on leader, the role balances daily client support with long-term vision, combining strategy and execution into effective plans. The ideal candidate will bring senior agency or production management experience, with a proven track record in delivering client solutions, nurturing relationships, and driving growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Media and discipline neutral, the Senior Account Manager proactively finds opportunity by looking for the best way of maximising delivery for the brand and driving this opportunity with our Client.
- Working with internal studio and strategic suppliers to deliver the best solutions.
- The Senior Account Manager will have the ability to influence client thinking to produce outstanding results.
- Our ideal candidate will also have an intuitive understanding of agency operations and be able to direct strategy and work with the teams.
- Attending WIPs and meetings and taking/influencing key briefs from clients showing a clear understanding of requirements and cascade to local teams globally.
- Deliver excellent service to client with a professional βcan doβ attitude at all times.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key contacts.
- Providing technical input and advice on projects as required to achieve high quality standards.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- Proven client service expertise with strong senior-level relationship building.
- Strong background in POS, print, or promotional merchandise within the alcohol beverages category.
- Knowledge of the Irish market and retailer operations.
- Solid financial reporting, forecasting, and data analysis capabilities.
- Strong understanding of marketing services concepts and client delivery.
- Natural rapport-builder with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Skilled in negotiation, consensus building, and stakeholder management.
- Experienced in identifying business issues and developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Able to balance changing business strategies with practical execution in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and flexible ways of working.
- Confident presenter with exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Track record of leading teams to achieve goals through systematic and logical approaches.
