Purpose of the Job
This role is working with one of our key Global FMCG clients and leading the end-to-end delivery of strategic and innovative, permanent retail display projects across Europe - ensuring seamless execution from client brief through concept, design, production, and final delivery with a focus on innovation, quality, and efficiency. You will own and drive client-focused project management for Permanent Point of Sale Material (POSM) initiatives, ensuring delivery from initial brief to in-store execution. You will need to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to agreed quality and service standards. A strong understanding of retail environments, design, and manufacturing processes is essential. You would operate on a blended basis between the local HH Global office, client/vendor site(s) and home as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all client contractual, commercial, and operational processes, aligning projects with client sourcing strategies and program plans.
- Review and validate client briefs with internal stakeholders to ensure clarity, completeness, and feasibility - collaborate with cross-functional teams (Client Engagement, Design, Technical Buyers, Quality, Installation) to deliver project objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring timely approvals and information flow.
- Manage all project activities in line with agreed rate cards and critical paths - define and agree timelines and milestones, including for RFQs outside standard processes.
- Establish and monitor critical paths with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment with client KPIs.
- Take project ownership from Design and Technical Buying teams and lead execution.
- Ensure all documentation complies with HH Global standards and is issued accurately to all stakeholders.
- Oversee technical and quality aspects, working with Technical Buyers, QC teams, and suppliers to ensure compliance and production sign-off.
- Manage change requests, communicating implications clearly to clients and suppliers.
- Quality Management - Ensure quality control processes are embedded within timelines and properly executed and documented.
- Logistics & Freight - Coordinate logistics with suppliers and partners, ensuring on-time delivery and correct documentation (including Incoterms).
- Warehousing - Coordinate stock movements and provide timely updates to warehouse teams.
- Installation - Define installation scope, manage vendors, issue POs, and track progress through to completion.
- Post Project - Conduct reviews to drive continuous improvement, close project documentation and ensure accurate, timely invoicing in line with contracts.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- Proven experience in project management within POSM, retail display, or FMCG environments and a solid understanding of 3D design and/or production processes.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail - capable of managing multiple projects across European markets.
- Experience acting as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring timely approvals and information flow.
- Ability to build strong client relationships and engage effectively at senior levels - excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Confident in challenging requirements constructively and influencing decisions.
- Creative problem-solving and “out-of-the-box” thinking.
- Some flexibility is required around travel and adapted working hours as required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent English language and additional European languages are an advantage.
