A critical role within our expanding Growth team, the Content Manager is responsible for the strategic management, governance, and optimization of our sales content ecosystem. This role is pivotal in enabling commercial teams with high-quality, on-brand and up-to-date content that supports new and existing client growth conversations, thought leadership and go-to-market excellence. You will lead the development and maintenance of a best-in-class content library, ensuring all materials are accurate, relevant, and easily accessible to the wider growth organization. You will be proficient in the use of AI and have a clear understanding of how evolving technology can drive the future agility and impact of sales content. You will work closely with subject matter experts, solutions, marketing, business development and sales enablement colleagues to implement a structured, scalable approach to sales content lifecycle management – underpinned by strong governance, communication, and continuous improvement. The role operates on a blended basis but being able to access our Bishopsgate head office is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy + Governance
- Own and evolve the content governance framework, ensuring all sales content reflects the best of our business and is accurate, compliant, approved by the appropriate parties and aligned to business priorities.
- Define and implement scalable processes for content creation, curation, review, approval, and retirement across multiple content types (e.g. presentations, case studies, capability overviews, thought leadership).
- Act as the central point of contact for content-related queries, ensuring clarity on ownership, version control and usage guidelines.
- Enhance the sophistication of content management and deployment by building developing a library of materials that is agile and diverse, for example covering factors such as customer buying journey stage and industry-specific nuances.
- Content Management + Enablement
- Support the development and enforcement of content standards by reviewing, editing and refining materials to ensure they are relevant, compelling, and consistently concise.
- Maintain and continuously improve our content management system, ensuring content is well-organised, tagged, and easily discoverable.
- Develop and deliver internal communication and training to promote new or updated content, ensuring commercial teams are aware of and confident in using available materials.
- Collaborate with the wider growth team to create a scalable sales content ecosystem. Use collaboration and community to harness and curate content from marketing campaign activity, sales plays, insights and trends and go-to-market initiatives.
- Support the development of content performance metrics and insights to inform future content strategy and prioritization.
- Collaboration + Communication
- Work closely with the Growth, Marketing, Solutions and Client Engagement teams to ensure content meets the needs of frontline teams and supports strategic growth objectives.
- Champion a culture of content excellence, providing guidance and training to internal teams on content standards, tools, and best practices.
- Lead content-related initiatives and projects, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- Experience and understanding of the marketing services industry is a distinct advantage.
- Proven experience in content management, content strategy, or content governance roles within a B2B or professional services environment.
- Strong track record of sales content lifecycle management, including governance frameworks, taxonomy, and metadata best practices.
- Experience managing content within platforms such as Seismic, SharePoint, or similar enterprise content management systems.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for clarity and consistency.
- Editing skills, with the ability to take raw content and develop into compelling, concise material that is optimized to support growth conversations.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with content analytics tools is a plus.
- Commercial acumen and a user-centric mindset to ensure content is not only accurate but also impactful and easy to use.
