This role sits alongside our Client Engagement and Commercial teams analyzing the data generated through our service delivery to a global FMCG / beverage client. You will receive, interrogate, qualify and validate the transactional data available and through a learned understanding of our service commitments, build reporting and story-telling around savings, commercial outcomes and contract compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Commercial Data Analysis
- Analyze large datasets relating to marketing campaigns, supplier costs, and operational performance
- Review spend across channels (print, digital, POS, logistics, media production, etc)
- Identify trends, anomalies, and cost drivers within campaign execution
- Produce regular commercial performance reports and dashboards
- Savings + Optimization
- Identify and quantify cost-saving opportunities across marketing execution activities
- Support savings initiatives including supplier renegotiations, process improvements, and specification optimization
- Analyze pricing structures and benchmark costs against historical and industry standards
- Track and report realized vs. forecast savings
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with client engagement, procurement, finance, and operations teams
- Present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Support client discussions with data-driven insights and recommendations
- Data Management + Reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports (eg Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across systems
- Automate reporting processes where possible
Knowledge, skills + experience:
- High capability in data analysis and visualization tools (advanced Excel, SQL | Power BI, Tableau or similar)
- Ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets with accuracy and translate that data into actionable commercial insights
- Understanding of financial metrics, cost analysis, and ROI modelling - experience analyzing budgets, costs and supplier pricing
- Strong understanding of cost drivers and margin optimization
- Ability to identify trends, patterns, and inefficiencies
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data clearly - experience working with cross-functional teams
- Confident presenting insights and recommendations
