Purpose of the job
The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and governance of retail media and digital delivery program to include all fixtures, hardware and media. Working across internal teams, client stakeholders, and external partners (including installation teams), you will ensure that activity across Retail Media Networks (RMN), CMS platforms, and digital in-store media is delivered in line with agreed scope, timelines, and KPIs. The position focuses on control, visibility, and consistency of delivery, ensuring that all workstreams are aligned, risks are actively managed, and performance is monitored throughout the project lifecycle. This role operates on a blended basis between the local HH Global office, client/vendor site(s) and home as necessary. The client is based in the Leeds area, and so you need to be able to readily access that location.
Key responsibilities
- Project Planning + Governance
- Own the planning and structuring of the project, ensuring clear timelines, milestones, and dependencies are defined.
- Establish and maintain project plans, trackers, and governance frameworks.
- Delivery Oversight + Coordination
- Oversee the delivery of campaigns across Retail Media, CMS, and digital in-store media channels.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including media, data, tech, design, and external vendors.
- Monitoring, Risk + Issue Management
- Monitor project progress and campaign status through regular tracking and reporting.
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies early, implementing mitigation plans as required.
- Performance Tracking + Reporting
- Oversee delivery reporting, ensuring accurate and consistent tracking of campaign activity.
- Support post-campaign reviews by ensuring all delivery data and timelines are documented.
- Stakeholder Management
- Facilitate regular status meetings, ensuring clear communication and follow-ups.
- Support alignment between client objectives and operational delivery teams.
- Commercial + Operational Control
- Maintain oversight of budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Support financial tracking, including forecasting and cost control across projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency of delivery.
Knowledge, skills + experience
- Experience in a project management or program coordination role, ideally within marketing, retail, or digital environments.
- Exposure to Retail Media, CMS platforms, or digital media delivery.
- Strong experience managing timelines, dependencies, and cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a structured environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational capability.
- Clear and confident communication skills across different stakeholder groups.
Essential criteria
- Experience managing end-to-end project delivery or complex workstreams within a digital in-store environment or RMN.
- Experience working with reporting, trackers, and delivery documentation.
- Experience working with project management tools (e.g. Smartsheet, Monday, Asana, Jira).
