Harold G Walker Solicitors, established in 1946, is a reputable law firm with offices in Broadstone, Christchurch, Verwood, and Wimborne. Known for bridging the gap between small high-street legal practices and large corporate law firms, we provide expert legal services to local and national clients. Our firm is an integral part of the community, offering friendly, straightforward, and professional service. We take pride in delivering clear and impartial advice tailored to individual and organizational needs.

Due to a promotion internally, we are looking for a full-time Receptionist to join our friendly team at our Broadstone office. As the first person the client sees, you are the face of the firm and throughout the organisation, our receptionists play a crucial role in welcoming our clients and always ensuring a high level of customer care. We work as a team and at times you will be required to offer administrative support to our legal teams.

This is a permanent full-time role based at our Broadstone office. Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, with 1 hour for lunch which equates to a 35 hour week. The salary for this position is £23,132.20.

The Candidate:

  • You must have had experience in a similar role.
  • You will be IT literate and fully conversant with MS office packages.
  • You will be friendly, approachable and have excellent customer service skills and telephone manner.
  • You will be a team player, helping to support back-office functions and overflow typing when needed, and assist with archiving administration.
  • You will be confident, self-motivated and organised, and able to prioritise your workload.
  • You should be willing to adopt a strong compliance culture, and training is provided as required.
