Rygor Auto, Reading £18ph – £20ph DOE: PLUS overtime paid at 1.5x basic hourly rate and £21.50 per day late shift allowance. Shift: 13:30–22:00 – 40 hr week (Late shift)

Your Role

Join our award‑winning Rygor team at Rygor Reading as an experienced and qualified Van Technician. In this role you will keep customer vehicles on the road through safe, compliant, and high‑quality maintenance, delivering exceptional service every time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform major and minor repairs on Mercedes‑Benz vans
  • Carry out regular inspections and preventive maintenance services
  • Maintain workshop inventory and cleanliness, including oil spill and dust removal
  • Collaborate with repair teams to diagnose and plan repairs
  • Record vehicle repairs using Keyloop/Kerridge modules
  • Complete necessary documentation and paperwork; manage warranty claims or escalation
  • Carry out wheel alignment and tyre fitting
  • Provide customer documentation within agreed time‑scales

Qualifications & Skills

You should have Level 3 (NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI Qualification) in LCV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance, and experience in diagnostic and service repairs. In addition you must:

  • Be able to identify worn or faulty components in accordance with DVSA standards
  • Hold a current, full UK driving licence for the relevant vehicle classes
