Mercedes-Benz Parts Sales Advisor
We are seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our expanding team in Dungannon. As a specialist franchise catering for Mercedes-Benz Truck, Van, Passenger Car, we are looking for an additional person to help ensure every vehicle has the parts it needs β when it needs them.
Hours of work: 42.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 08:30 β 17:30 or 09:00 β 18:00. Saturday overtime working will be on a rotational basis; 08:00 β 12:00 payable at 1.5 rate.
Rate of pay: Β£13.15 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and source Mercedes-Benz vehicle parts, processing orders promptly and accurately.
- Provide professional and efficient customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Advise customers on products, promotions, and available offers.
- Source unavailable items from alternative suppliers and arrange delivery.
- Upsell accessories and additional parts where appropriate.
- Check stock deliveries against delivery notes and report discrepancies.
- Efficiently process internal orders and transactions for our in-house team.
- Support general duties within the Parts Department.
Aptitude, Values & Work Ethic:
- Positive attitude with a desire to learn and develop within the dealership.
- Genuine passion for vehicles and the Mercedes-Benz brand.
- Minimum of one yearβs experience working in a motor industry parts advisory role.
- IT proficient with the ability to use Microsoft Office and parts catalogue navigation.
- Strong communication skills across phone, email and face-to-face.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Commitment to delivering customer excellence.
Desirable:
- Experience using Kerridge/CDK or a similar dealer-management system.
