Are you passionate about trucks and engineering? Looking for a hands-on career where no two days are the same? We’re now recruiting for our 2026 DAF Apprentice HGV Technician Programme — and this could be the start of something big!
As a DAF Apprentice HGV Technician, you will be trained to the highest standards in a mix of classroom learning and hands-on experience at our fully equipped workshop. You\\\’ll gain the skills to diagnose, repair, and service DAF heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), while working alongside experienced technicians and mentors.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, i.e. 40 hours per week. 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid).
Key Responsibilities
This is an entry-level role offering on-the-job training which is supported by the official DAF apprenticeship training programme. This programme is a three-year IMI Level 3 diploma in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair, managed by Skillnet who are DAF’s appointed training management agent.
