Salary: £30,000 per year basic, with a competitive uncapped commission. Company car is provided.

SAGA Truck & Van have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Truck Sales Executive to join their excellent Truck Sales Team in Thurrock. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Truck Sales Executive to join our commercial vehicle sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing customer accounts, and selling our range of new and used trucks to a diverse client base across the UK. This is a field-based role with regular travel to client sites, and will suit someone with strong commercial vehicle sales experience, a proactive mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

What will you be doing?

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the truck and commercial vehicle sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Conduct vehicle presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.
  • Negotiate pricing, financing options, and contract terms in line with company policies.
  • Collaborate with the aftersales team to ensure customer satisfaction post-sale.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, competitors, and product developments.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity using CRM systems.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience working with brands such as DAF, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, MAN, or Iveco.
  • Proven experience in truck or commercial vehicle sales (B2B preferred).
  • Experience of selling commercial vehicles (HGV).
  • Knowledge of HGVs, trailers, and related services or financing options.
  • Understanding of UK road transport legislation and fleet management.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales management tools.

Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate: Thurrock RM20: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
