ClickNDrive are recruiting for a reliable and skilled 7.5 tonne driver to join our growing team to carry out trailered vehicle movements throughout the UK. As a 7.5 tonne driver you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of new and used vehicles using an Iveco Daily + a trailer. This role requires someone who is committed to safe driving practices and adherence to all traffic regulations.
Salary: £33,000 + performance related bonuses providing you with the opportunity to earn up to £36,000 (further details will be provided at interview stage.)
Responsibilities of the 7.5 tonne driver:
- Deliver new and used vehicles to customers throughout the UK
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and log any defects
- Communicate effectively with your assigned planners and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during transportation
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately
- 2-3 nights out per week
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Full CPC and Digi Tachograph card
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan routes effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- A commitment to safety and attention to detail in all aspects of driving
