We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of new and used vehicles using either an Iveco Daily 7.5T + Trailer or a Mitsubishi L200 + Trailer. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations, ensuring timely deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver new and used vehicles to customers throughout the UK
- Conduct daily vehicle inspection and log any defects
- Communicate effectively with planners and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during transportation
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Full CPC and Digi tachograph card
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan routes effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- A commitment to safety and attention to detail in all aspects of driving
