Overview
The job role involves early morning starts delivering and collecting vehicles. You will collect two vehicles from our compound in Jarrow or occasionally from dealerships, deliver them to the customer’s home or workplace, and collect return cars.
Responsibilities
- Collect two vehicles from the designated locations (compound in Jarrow or dealerships as required).
- Deliver vehicles to customers’ homes or workplaces and collect return cars.
- Drive specified transporter equipment, keep the transporter and trailer in good condition, and maintain a clean and professional appearance (uniform provided).
Qualifications
- Driving Licence: required
- Experience: driving for at least 2 years (required)
Pay and Benefits
- Annual salary: £30,000
- Bonus: £25 for every return car
- Quarterly bonus after 6 months for attendance, with £500 for good work attendance, vehicle care, and uniform compliance
- Company pension
- Free/on-site parking
Work Details
- Work Monday to Friday
- Willing to stay out at least twice a week (accommodation provided: Travel Lodge or Holiday Inn; plus expenses)
- No bank holidays or weekends unless traveling back on a Saturday (this is overtime)
- If a driver stays out on a Friday, they will not be expected to stay out the following Friday
