Motus Commercials located in Cumbernauld is on the lookout for a dedicated Apprentice HGV Technician to join our friendly team in the Workshop. This exciting new role will see you working:
- 5 days per week Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 16.30pm
- Friday 8.00am - 15.30pm

What Will You Be Doing?
- To undertake hands on training within the Service Department by working with your nominated mentor.
- To observe and learn how to be able to diagnose a fault.
- To learn how to repair basic faults through to more complicated as your knowledge grows.
- To learn the dealer standards and undertake servicing and repair work to the standard required.
- To embrace all opportunities of learning and developing.
- To attend recognised courses of instruction and achieve the correct pass mark for each course.
- To always work to the best of his/her ability.
- To respect the property of the Company and any property for which the Company is responsible, or which is in their care.
- To assist with general housekeeping duties required within the workshop.
- To enjoy your time as a Brilliant colleague within Motus Commercials.
As an Apprentice HGV Technician at Motus Commercials in Cumbernauld we will be looking for you to be able to demonstrate:
- An interest in motor vehicles.
- An analytical and methodical way of thinking.
- Enthusiasm, commitment, and confidence.
- Being highly motivated with an eye for detail.
- Driven by your own initiative.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to maintain positive relationships.
- Minimum grade C / 5 in English and Maths is preferred.
