Title: Patent Integration Officer
Location: UK – Hybrid with travel to offices as needed
The Position
As a Patent Integration Officer, you will play a crucial role in our integration team, ensuring a seamless and efficient data transfer process. This position is vital for enabling our clients to effectively enforce their intellectual property (IP) rights, aligning with our commitment to operational excellence and client satisfaction. You will manage the \’take on\’ of cases and assignments, ensuring compliance with legalities and internal procedures, and maintaining high standards and agreed costs. Your responsibilities will include recording changes in IP ownership, drafting client-facing reports, and liaising with international law firms to obtain jurisdiction-specific pricing and requirements. Additionally, you will validate IP data, manage data entry and verification, and oversee the preparation and submission of recordals. You will also identify opportunities for process improvements and work with the Process Improvement Manager to implement these changes.
About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Patent Formalities, ideally at the Officer level, with a strong background in managing high-volume data entry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formatting, sorting, and using functions like VLOOKUP to cross-check data, is essential. Additionally, experience with translation tools is preferred
