We are seeking a finals standard or recently qualified Patent Attorney to join our growing Life Sciences team. In this role, you will work across a diverse and stimulating mix of technologies within the life sciences and related scientific fields. The position comes with a broad range of responsibilities, including:

  • Drafting high-quality patent specifications
  • Prosecuting UK and European patents
  • Providing strategic IP advice to clients

The position offers the chance to work closely with a range of client types, from Universities and spin outs through to large multinational firms. Alongside your core technical work, you will have the opportunity to contribute to client relationship building and business development activities. This is a role for someone looking to develop into a trusted advisor, build strong commercial awareness, and progress within a supportive and highly respected team.

We’d love to hear from you if you’re a Trainee Attorney on the cusp of qualification, or have recently qualified and have an academic and professional background in biotech/biology subject matter. Having a depth of exposure to drafting will be an important attribute for this position, as will someone who enjoys being client facing.
