Title: Part-Qualified/Recently Qualified Patent Attorney – Electronics/Semiconductors Are you a part-qualified or recently qualified Patent Attorney with a background in electronics or semiconductor technology? This position offers an opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative team, working on high-quality, varied matters for leading technology clients while continuing to develop your career through structured training and clear progression support whether you are currently a Trainee or already qualified. You will work closely with experienced attorneys on a broad range of high-quality work, including drafting and prosecuting UK, European and international patent applications, advising clients on patent strategy and portfolio management, supporting opposition and appeal work, and building strong relationships with innovative clients across the electronics and semiconductor sectors. The role will involve exposure to a wide range of technologies, including communications systems, wireless and digital technologies, semiconductor devices, power electronics, signal processing, integrated circuits and other related areas of advanced electronics. The ideal candidate will be a part-qualified or recently qualified UK and/or European Patent Attorney with a strong academic background in electronics, physics, semiconductor engineering or a related technical discipline. You will bring experience in drafting and prosecution, ideally gained within private practice, together with excellent attention to detail, strong written communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach. This role would suit someone who is keen to continue developing their technical and commercial expertise while building strong, long-term relationships with clients in innovative technology sectors.
