Our client is a successful ladieswear high street private label fashion retailer operating in the Middle East. Having grown organically, they operate some 40 stores and an online site. With significant double-digit increases over the last 2 years, they now have a serious ambition to double the size of their business by 2030.
In order to grow smartly and to elevate their product offering, they will open a Product Hub in London, incorporating Buying, Merchandising, and Design. Reporting to the Product Director, based in London, the Head of Merchandising / Planning will have extensive experience of working in ladieswear for high street retailers.
You will work closely with the buying teams to oversee OTB, planning, and inventory. You must have worked for larger retail players, but also smaller organisations, as this role requires agility and entrepreneurism. You will have to set up systems and processes from scratch and must not be frustrated by ambiguity.
Above all, you will be globally curious and respectful of other cultures. International working, especially in the GCC, will be advantageous.
Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 + benefits. Our client will offer more for exceptional candidates. This is a hybrid working role in Central London. You must have the rights to live and work in the UK.
