We're looking for an experienced Business Development Consultant to help expand our client portfolio and build long-term commercial partnerships.
This is a flexible, part-time opportunity for someone who enjoys developing relationships, identifying opportunities and contributing to the growth of a well-established consultancy.
The Role
Working closely with the Managing Director, you'll play a key role in driving the company's commercial growth.
You'll identify and develop new business opportunities, build long‑term client relationships and help convert prospects into valued partnerships.
This is a highly autonomous role offering the opportunity to shape your approach and make a meaningful impact on the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the luxury hospitality, travel and lifestyle sectors.
- Build relationships with prospective clients and key decision‑makers.
- Generate qualified meetings and develop a healthy sales pipeline.
- Support the development of proposals, pitches and commercial opportunities.
- Represent Hg2 Content Lab at client meetings and industry events.
- Convert opportunities into long‑term client partnerships.
About You
You'll be a confident relationship builder with a commercial mindset and a genuine passion for creating opportunities.
You'll ideally have
- Experience in business development, partnerships or commercial roles.
- A proven track record of winning new business.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Confidence engaging with senior decision‑makers.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial approach and the ability to work independently.
- An interest in luxury hospitality, travel and premium brands.
Experience within hospitality, luxury brands, travel, agencies or related sectors would be advantageous but isn't essential.
