HG Recruitment are recruiting Class 2 Drivers to join a busy, fast-paced distribution operation based at Hitchcock’s Business Park, Willand, Cullompton, EX15 3FA. This is an excellent opportunity for professional Class 2 Drivers looking for ongoing work with regular shifts and excellent earning potential.
Pay Rates: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour
Working Pattern:
- Monday-Friday
- Ongoing work available
- Full-time and Part Time | Temp to Perm
- Start times between 05:30 am – 06:30 am
- Average shift length 10-12hrs
The role:
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries across local routes.
- Conduct thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift.
- Load and unload goods safely, ensuring accuracy and care of all items.
- Adhere to driving hours, tachograph, and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Maintain excellent communication with the transport team and customers.
- Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Requirements:
- You must have a valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid CPC and digital tachograph card.
- Curtain sided vehicle experience desired.
- Recent experience in multi-drop or similar driving roles preferred.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and strong customer service skills.
