RATE OF PAY: £120 - £170 daily rate based on experience

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our client's secondary school faculty. The successful candidate will inspire students aged 11-18 to develop a deep understanding and appreciation of geography, helping them to explore both physical and human environments. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching, fostering curiosity, and supporting the academic and personal development of all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the school curriculum and examination requirements (e.g., GCSE, A-Level).
- Develop students' knowledge and understanding of physical, human, and environmental geography.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing feedback to support learning.
- Encourage students to think critically, ask questions, and develop research and analytical skills.
- Incorporate a variety of teaching methods, including digital resources and fieldwork opportunities, to enhance learning.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental schemes of work and teaching materials.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related subject (Masters preferred).
