HG Recruitment are looking for Transport Clerical for our established Wincanton site in Waltham Abbey. This is a busy transport operation requiring strong attention to detail to support the delivery of key transport KPIs. The role involves carrying out day-to-day administrative and clerical tasks within a very busy transport department, reporting directly to the Transport Team Manager on duty.
Shift: 4 on 4 off days 05:30–17:30
Hourly pay rate:
- Standard Days: £13.71 per hour
- Overtime Days: £20.56 per hour

Role duties:
- Collate and process transport and warehouse paperwork; maintain record-keeping spreadsheets
- Assist with driver debriefs and ensure compliance with legal and company requirements (e.g. missing kilometres, driver card downloads)
- Respond to calls and emails from stores, drivers, and other stakeholders, escalating where necessary
- Support the Transport Team Manager with general administrative duties and reporting
- Maintain sufficient stock of sundries and stationery
- Take notes during investigations or disciplinary meetings as required
