HG Recruitment are recruiting 3.5T multi-drop van drivers in partnership with our client Next.

Pay Rates:

  • PAYE: £14.27 – £25.69
  • Rolled Up: £15.99 – £28.79

Shift Details:

  • Rolling 12-week rota
  • Any 5 out of 7 days
  • Start times between 04:00 and 08:00

Estimated weekly pay based on 55 hours: £892

Expected annual earnings: £47,000

Temporary contract with permanent opportunities.

DUTIES:

  • Multi drop delivery to high street stores, up to 15 drops per day.
  • Completing paperwork.
  • Vehicle pre and post checks and route planning.
  • Delivering clothing for retail customers who have used click and collect online.
  • Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary.
  • Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills.
  • Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised.
  • Possess an enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service.
  • Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 21 due to insurance.
  • Held license for minimum of 1 year.
  • Maximum of 6 points no major endorsements.
  • Must be able to get to work on own accord.
  • Must be able to work weekends as rota does include weekend working.
  • Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Driver’s Hours).
  • Good national geographical awareness.
  • Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills.
  • Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised.
  • Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first class customer service.
  • Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.
