HG Recruitment are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support one of the UK's leading supermarket distribution operations based in Bedford.
Location: ASDA Distribution Centre, Marsh Leys Cottages, Farm Woburn Road, Kempston, Bedford, MK43 9AB
Pay Rates (Parity Rates Applicable to All Drivers Until the End of August):
- Days (06:00-14:00): £17.96/hr
- Standard Overtime (45+ Hours): £24.88/hr
- Bank Holiday: £35.92/hr
- Back Shift (14:00-22:00): £20.30/hr
- Standard Overtime (45+ Hours): £27.22/hr
- Bank Holiday: £40.60/hr
- Nights (22:00-06:00): £21.66/hr
- Standard Overtime (45+ Hours): £28.58/hr
- Bank Holiday: £43.32/hr

Estimated Earnings:
- 45-hour week (Night Shift): Up to £975 per week
- Expected annual earnings exceeding £50,000 (dependent on shift pattern and overtime)
The Role:
- Supermarket store deliveries across the region.
- Ambient and chilled products.
- Class 1 store deliveries with trailer bay unloading.
- Occasional Class 2 deliveries to smaller stores, including cage deliveries and collections.
- Daily vehicle checks, electronic PODs and compliance with Driver Hours and Working Time regulations.
- Any 5 days from 7 with regular weekend work.
- Typical start times: 22:00-03:00.

- Good knowledge of Driver Hours and Working Time regulations.
