SHIFTS: Days

RATES:

  • HGV Class 2 Days: £16.21 per hour (Not including holiday pay)
  • £18.16 per hour (Including holiday pay)
  • Estimated weekly pay based on 45 hours: £817.20
  • Expected annual earnings: £42,494 (Inclusive of holiday pay)

DUTIES:

  • Carry out multi-drop deliveries to retail, hospitality, and business customers
  • Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle in line with road and safety regulations
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
  • Load and unload goods, often involving manual handling
  • Ensure all deliveries are accurate and supported by correct paperwork
  • Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
  • Follow planned routes and delivery schedules
  • Adhere to all driving laws, working time directives, and tachograph regulations
