ROLE: Domiciliary Care Worker
LOCATION: Ilkley & Pudsey, West Yorkshire
HOURS OF WORK: Working full time shifts, hours varying between 7am-7pm, working 5 days across a 7-day shift rota
SALARY: £12.22 - £13.00 per hour dependent on experience, minimum of 10 hours paid
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and experienced DOMICILIARY CARE WORKER to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. The successful candidate will support service users to maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with medication in line with care plans and training
- Support with meal preparation and light household tasks
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Promote independence and wellbeing
- Accurately complete care records and report any concerns
- Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and company policies
- Previous experience in domiciliary care or a similar care role
- Mandatory care training (including Moving & Handling, Safeguarding, First Aid, Infection Control, etc.)
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable car
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience working with elderly or vulnerable adults
