HG Recruitment is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK Limited. Whether you're an experienced Class 2 Driver or a confident newly qualified driver, we'd love to hear from you.
- Newly Qualified Drivers:
- Monday-Friday: £18.00 per hour
- Overtime (after 40 hours): £27.00 per hour
- Saturday: £27.00 per hour
- Sunday & Bank Holidays: £36.00 per hour
- Estimated Weekly Pay (40 Hours): £720
- Experienced Drivers (Minimum 12 Months Proven Class 2 Experience):
- Monday-Friday: £22.00 per hour
- Overtime (after 40 hours): £33.00 per hour
- Saturday: £33.00 per hour
- Sunday & Bank Holidays: £44.00 per hour
- Estimated Weekly Pay (40 Hours): £880
Working as part of a professional waste and recycling team, you will complete residential refuse and recycling collections across the local area.
- Complete multi-drop collection rounds safely and efficiently.
- Monday to Friday working with optional overtime available.
- Minimum 8-hour shift guarantee (average 10-hour shifts).
- Consistent ongoing work with Temp to Perm opportunities.
- Premium overtime, weekend and Bank Holiday pay rates.
- Pension scheme.
- Ongoing driver training, CPC support and career development.
- Driver portal and mobile app for payslips, holidays and assignment information.
- Dedicated 24/7 Operations team, Driver Mentor and Mental Health First Aider support.
Immediate starts available following a successful assessment and induction.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good communication skills with a flexible, can-do attitude.
- Newly Qualified Class 2 Drivers are welcome to apply, provided you are confident completing blind-side reversing manoeuvres safely.
