ROLE: Paint Technician
LOCATION: Corby, Northamptonshire, NN17 5ZA
RATE OF PAY: £16.71 - £19.65 per hour depending on experience
HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday 6am - 4pm
TYPE: Temporary ongoing
HG Recruitment are recruiting Paint Technicians in partnership with our client based in Corby, Northamptonshire. This is a full-time temporary ongoing contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Paint preparation of the vehicle, masking and prepping if required.
- Spray painting required vehicles using water-based paints.
- Checking paint colour and preparing spray out cards to ensure a perfect match.
- Cleaning up work area and making sure that equipment is working correctly.
- Supporting bodyshop team within other departments if required.
Skills and Expertise:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Bodyshop Technician / Paint Sprayer (essential).
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- Willing to support junior techs and offer support/expertise when needed.
- Passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers.
- Ability to work independently on vehicles and make decisions when required.
- Excellent attention to detail.
