Various shift patterns available. We are looking for reliable, professional Class 1 HGV Drivers to join the team at our client, the UK's leading postal services company. You'll play a vital role in ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. You'll be joining a friendly and supportive transport team where safety, respect, and teamwork come first.
Peak rates
- PAYE rates with accrued holiday pay: Days £20.82-£21.08, Lates £21.57-£22.42, Nights £23.85
- Assessments paid
- Shifts - Various shifts and start times available, offering full-time week and ad-hoc cover over 7 days a week

Duties:
- Driving & Delivering: Operate articulated HGVs (over 3.5 tonnes) for local and national DC deliveries, including single and double-deck trailers and cage work. Mainly trunking work with occasional handball/cage work.
- Route Planning: Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries, adapting to traffic and weather conditions.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with site personnel and provide excellent customer service.
- Compliance: Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures, including vehicle checks and reporting defects.
Requirements:
- A valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- A minimum of 12 months Class 1 driving experience
- A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
- A good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
- A positive attitude and a commitment to safe, efficient driving
