RATES: HGV Class 1 and 2 Driver Rate
- Days: From £16.00 PAYE with holiday accrued
- Estimated weekly pay based on 55 hours £880
- Expected annual earnings £45,760
DUTIES:
- Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
- Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
- Always provide excellent customer service and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
- HGV Class 1 and 2 drivers must carry out deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
- You will be working in the Recycling/Waste industry; experience of Ro Ro is desired.
- Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary.
- Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills.
- Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised.
- Possess an enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service.
- Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.

- Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements.
- Experience of RoRo is a benefit due to the work you will be doing.
- Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Drivers Hours).
- Good national geographical awareness.
- Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills.
- Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised.
