HG Recruitment are hiring a HGV Class 2 Driver for a long-term, high-value client in Irlam (M44). The role involves transporting automotive parts and materials between plants, suppliers, and logistics hubs to support smooth production and on-time deliveries. Monday to Friday shifts, with both day and night options available and separate earnings for each.
DUTIES:
- Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
- Securing the load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
- Always provide excellent customer service and take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
- CLASS 2 HGV DRIVER must carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
- Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary.

- HGV C+E, HGV Class 2 licence minimum 6 months.
- Digi Tacho & CPC cards.
- Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements.
- Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Drivers Hours).
- Good national geographical awareness.
- Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills.
- Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised.
- Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first class customer service.
- Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.
